Pilgrim open-backed “Shady Grove” 5 string banjo. Ideal for Bluegrass and Old-Time. Hevay duty maple shell and very solid construction. Geared tuners. The previous owner has stuck a thin “scratch plate” to the head, but this seems to have no effect on the performance or tone of the instrument. Comes with hard case.
