Our Guitar Workshop has been open for over 20 years. Many of our customers will only trust their instruments to us, and that is because all work is done on the premises.
We carry out all types of repairs and custom work. Only finish work is done off the premises. We can do anything from replacing a string to replacing your pickups or even your frets. If you don't live nearby we can even arrange for carriage of your instrument to us and for its return after work is completed.
If you wish to discuss your requirements with our skilled luthiers, Howard or Trevor will be pleased to help. Trevor has been repairing and building guitars for more years than he cares to remember. Howard began repairing guitars in California in the late 1980's. Between them that's over 55 years worth of experience. Just about as long as Stratocasters have been around, and longer than most repair shops can boast.

*The cost of new strings is not included in the above set up prices. All prices +VAT.
New strings are required for all setups. We can provide you with a wide range. Or you are welcome to supply your own.
Electronic:
Soldering, Custom Wiring, Coil Taps, Replacing worn or broken parts, Re-wire, Fault finding etc
From £15 +VAT labour + parts.
Labour cost subject to specific work required. Please enquire for an individual quote.
Fit new nut and slot to correct height:
£25 +VAT Labour + parts (often required after fret dressing)
Fret Work:
Fret Dress and polish £40 +VAT
Fret Polish only £20 +VAT
Re-Fret Unbound fingerboard £125 +VAT
Re-Fret Bound fingerboard £150 +VAT
Re-Fret Maple fingerboard £125 +VAT
*plus cost of any re-finish work (this varies depending upon the age of the neck).
Acoustic Saddle replacement:
£20 +VAT Labour + parts
